HOBB (حب) is a design-focused bookstore which celebrates creativity, inspiration, and the power of the written word. The name, HOBB, which means "love" in Arabic, embodies our passion for design and the joy that we find in sharing it with others.
As a brand, Hobb was allowed space to grow and mature organically, unfolding as the brand grew. While I don't recommend letting brands "ferment" this long. I appreciate the opportunity to let it age gracefully, in constant conversation with its audience.
As Hobb grew from an online bookstore to a brick and mortar bookstore, the needs grew, and a brand expansion was necessary. Today it is home to hundreds of well curated titles, that serve the culture and the creative industry, with countless collaborations with art institutes, educational centers, and independent artists and creators.
